Business Wednesday: Contracts

So after all this time I can’t believe that I have never posted this video on my website, a few months ago I had received so many questions on contracts I just decided to make a video about it.  I have had so many conversations about contracts sometimes I feel like my head is going to explode, and especially due to the fact that I deal with so many bridal parties on a daily basis I am no longer surprised when life throws a monkey wrench at me.  Here is a video that I hope you all find helpful and will take away some important tips to make your business better.  I mean let’s face it there are some scandalous people out there who are just look to exploit my fellow talented artists for there own personal gain.

You never know what may happen, snow storms, hurricanes, peoples finiancial status may change so be sure to protect yourself and your clients in writing. If you have any additional questions on contracts and protecting yourself legally please feel free to contact me via email and I will make another video!!

Product Review: Ben Nye HD Palette UPDATED Review!!

Hello my beauties and I am back with an updated video for you guys on the Ben Nye HD Media Pro 18 color palette.  I know I posted a video about a month ago when I first received it  but I did want to give all of you an updated review.  I have had a chance to use this palette on myself but also clients and although it wouldn’t be first choice for a professional foundation palette I have had a chance to find some very good use for it.  Check out the video below and as always be sure to follow me on Twitter and Instagram!!

Throwback Thursday

I’m not sure how much of a throwback this is being as though it’s from last year but I never really posted the photos any where even though it was one of my most challenging projects to date.  With the help of my assistant Bradley we created six distinctive zombie looks for Artist E Beasley video ‘Killing All These Rappers’.  Never knew that I would love doing special fx makeup until presented with the challenge of creating 6 looks including Beasley’s leading lady.  Check out the behind the scenes footage as well as the actual video for ‘Killing All These Rappers’
